Weekend of June 13, 2009 saw the Pickering Red Sox Minor Mosquitos take home the trophy at the Mississauga North Baseball Association (MNBA) tournament - beating out all other 11 AAA teams.  Congratulations Sox and Coach Rob Watson!

SOBA INTACT HOUSE LEAGUE TOURNAMENT Jun 29 2009

Rookie, Tyke and Peewee House League Divisions will participate in the SOBA intact tournaments on Aug 7, rookie will be held here in Pickering; location of the others should be available on the SOBA website, www.soba.ca.  Please ensure you are handing in your scores so that we can get the info on the team standings and decide which team will represent Pickering in each division.  The Tournament is for Intact House League Teams, no callups are allowed the teams should be playing together for the entire 2009 season, rosters need to be submitted to SOBA by mid July, it is a great opportunity for our House League Division... more info please contact Gail at vphouseleague@pickeringbaseball.ca.



Picture Day 2009 Jun 29 2009
Picture Day Retakes is July 20 at Brockridge Park, Midget Pictures will be taken then, teams who wish to have their pictures taken should contact Gail at vphouseleague@pickeringbaseball.ca, as soon as possible.  All team pics taken on the 20th of July will have their individuals done at that time.  Players who missed pictures should email Chuck at pickeringphoto@bellnet.ca, to set up an appointment, his studio is in Pickering Village, due to rain and rescheduling, those wishing individuals should not plan to attend on the 20th; but should email the photographer and set up a convenient time.  Schedule for the 20th will be available closer to the date.
